About Us
Shoreline Sound is a family-owned DJ company in Traverse City, with over 20 years of entertainment experience. We know what it takes to help make your wedding day a success. Every wedding is as individual as those getting married and Shoreline Sound takes pride in personalizing your event by creating music sets and playlists with you. We design each wedding and reception with the couple to carefully coordinate music and sound with the day's events. Shoreline Sound only takes on as many DJ events as we can give our full attention to. You are not a number to us! We pride ourselves on building a relationship with you that enables us to help you accomplish the goals for your big day!
Ceremonies
Anywhere, any place, anytime! Whether you're getting married on the sandy beaches of Northern Michigan or in a church, Shoreline Sound can be there. Each and every wedding is as unique as the couple tying the knot! We are happy to help with any special planning before the big day and design your music program and agenda with you. To guide your special day along, Shoreline Sound can emcee as much or little as needed to ensure the day goes off without a hitch.
Receptions
Aside from playing the music you want, our goal is to help with the flow of your event from start to finish. Shoreline Sound will stay in touch with you throughout your reception and make of all the proper introductions and announcements. We pride ourselves in having good communication with other vendors like your photographer, videographer, and banquet hall manager. You mean that song Uncle Bob wants us to play isn't one of your favorites? No problem! Using our online planning tools, you can choose the music we DJ and group your songs into three categories: Must Play, Play if Possible, or Do Not Play. Shoreline Sound is happy to take requests from your guests, stick to your playlist, or blend the two together... it's your night!
